We're going to take a guess that Beyonce's national anthem lip-sync at President Barack Obama's inauguration doesn't matter much to her mom, Tina Knowles. Whether Bey sings live or not, it pays the bills, bills, bills -- for a $5.9 million mansion that Queen B is reportedly buying as a home for her mother. Yeah, simply being related to Beyonce earns you some pretty sick gifts.
Gossip sites are buzzing that Beyonce is in the final stages of snapping up this opulent Houston house for her mom. How nice to have such a loving (and insanely rich) daughter! Online listings site Trulia notes that the home was listed as a short sale, and apparently it was going for $20 million three years ago. (So should we say that Beyonce got a steal?)
Tina Knowles should be happy: This place is so much better than the first mansion Beyonce bought her. Influenced by French and Italian architecture, the 23,562-square-foot home (how much space does one person need?!) boasts granite floors, marble columns, gold-plated fixtures, suspended staircases and a mirrored elevator.
