?St. John Villa is accepting teams for its fourth-grade girls? Halloween basketball tournament on Oct. 28, 29, 30. Each team is guaranteed three games and each player will receive a T-shirt. ?SI Musketeers tryouts
The Staten Island Musketeers AAU boys? program will hold tryouts at Markham IS in Graniteville. The following is the schedule for Nov. 3 and 10: 15-under, 9 a.m.; 13-under, 10 a.m.; 11-under, 11 a.m.; 10-under, noon; 16-under, 1 p.m. Boys 17-under may try out Dec. 1 and 8 at 9 a.m. All players must be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the tryout sessions. ?Hoop clinics?
St. Roch?s will host basketball clinics in November. Boys and girls in grades three through five may attend a Nov. 17 clinic at either 9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 3 p.m. From Nov. 12 to 16, grades six to eight may attend 6 to 8 p.m. clinics. The cost is $5 per child. Call 718-442-4755. ?
