TOKYO (WHDH) -- An unexpected snowstorm in Japan sent hundreds of people to the hospital.
Three inches of snow fell in Tokyo, but an estimated 16 inches coated the ground west of the city.
Most of the injuries came from car accidents as a result of the storm.
